    Can anyone recommend this or a similar dvd for setting up your tv / system? And where can I get it from?...

    I have this very disc. It,s content for set up is quite comprehensive and yes i would definitely recomend it. Although i only use it for video purposes as i use other means for audio set up. I believe you can rent the disc for a week or so from discemporium. com

    I,ll answer any questions on the disc itself.

    Also there's a new version in the works, called Digital Video Essentials. It has been said that it will feature PAL test screens.

    On the R1 dvd Castaway there is the THX Optimode, very basic but it covers brightness, contrast and colour plus it gives you a good idea on your sets geometry etc. There is also an audio section, channel level and crossover test. It`s not on R2 so you will have to buy the disc. :cool:
