back in the year 2000 i bought a canon mv300i digital
camcorder, i edited the home movies to vhs [what a mistake] now my home has gone 99.99% digital.
i need to get these movies onto dvd. i have treid the digital
pass through with the camera but it does not work

also used gf4 vivo but did not like the results and the software clipped out to much.

i have two options left to try

    1/ stand alone dvd recoder
2/ good but not to expensive video capture card with no tv

so if anybody knows of a good card that will do what i need
please advise, even if the card has tv i would be interested
if the video capture is ok, i realise that i will never get back the image quality like the original dv tape, but if it was vhs quality would be good. as i have experienced blocky results with gf4 capture.

    thanks
    jimmy
