Hi, I have an AVR100 hooked up to an old panasonic CRT, its connected via a composite cable going into the TV`s scart input.

I want to connect my computer to my system, my graphics card (ati X800) only has an s video output, If I connect this to the receiver will the receiver convert the s video to composite?

When i first got my system I hooked up my dvd player via s video and didnt get a picture at all so i`m assuming the reveiver cant do the conversion? is this right or am I missing something?

    Thanks

    Russ

If I remember correctly only the AVR300 and AVR250 do video convertion. The AVR100 and AVR200 do not.
