Hi - new the av game and have a question.

I've just bought a Denon AVR1905. I already have my Toshiba DVD connected to my Toshiba RPTV via a video component cable.

The question is - should I connect my dvd player to the Denon AVR1905 with the video component cable and then connect the AVR1905 to the tv with another video component cable?

will there be a loss of picture quality?

I've a PS2 which I've connected using a video component cable in the past and would like to still use it - but only have one set of component inputs in the tv...

hope this makes sense - thanks for any help

Really its best to go straight to the display device from the source component  But the convenience of the video switching in the Denon is handy :) Best advice is to try both and see if you can spot any degradation in the PQ when its run through the Denon. If you cant tell the difference then route it through the Denon :smashin:
