    Hello all.

I am currently preparing to begin to copy my old, irreplacable vhs recordings to dvd using my canon mv600i as an analogue to digital converter.

Can anyone recommend what vido capture software would be best for this purpose? I currently use Ulead Video Studio 5.

Preferably freeware! The wife has frozen my assets (ouch!)

    Cheers.

Well if you already have VideoStudio 5 then the latest version (7) would be the most sensible action, As a previous owner an upgrade will only cost £30, you can get a free trial (1 month) from http://www.ulead.co.uk/vs/trial.htm.

I'm sure if you offered to decorate the bedroom or something she'd let you spend £30
