video capture card

    I am looking to transfer vhs tapes onto dvd. I have two options -

    1. use a dvd recorder, or

    2. get a video capture card for the pc and link a vcr to it.

    For dvd recorders I have posted topic 1 in different forum.

    For topic 2 can anyone recommend a video capture card. I have a pinnacle studio 8 editing software which came with the dvd writer.

    having been made redundant i have decided to take some time off to chill out before looking for another job therefore my budget will be tight.

    The Packard Bell TV100 is pretty good & reasonably priced @ circa £30 from PC World.
