Don't know if there's anyone on here who visits Victoria Place shopping centre above London's Victoria station?

Anyway of recent, they've installed their own in-store TV channel showing music vids and adverts across 37 inch Panasonic plasmas around the centre.

There's an impressive quantity they've bought/hired as there's at least five of them for the resteraunt area alone!

Anyway it's worth a look for any plasma fans visiting nearby or catching a train there just to see the giant screen featuring four plasmas joined together. (Not sure of the size, but it was certainly massive).

Panny TH42PW5 can be panelled into a 4 display wall and even 16 IIRC how good was the over lapping edging as that is very hard to get right

The one at Victoria was actually 4 screens together plus one frame built around all four AND it was wall mounted!!!

As for the BBC News 24 screens at BR stations (are there any non-London stations with these?), I believe that they are made up of LEDs.

Yes they are made up of LEDs and the one in liverpool street is overly bright IMO. I mean come sundown it's hard to look at without being dazzled.

For no reason other than it's hot and I'm bored, I've uploaded some photos I've taken over the years of some of London's permenant giant LED screens...

Bloomberg screen outside of Waterloo's main entrance (long shot):

    Bloomberg screen (close-up shot):

ITN News (Now BBC News) screen at Waterloo station:

ITN News screen at Euston station (piccie taken late at night):

All you budding LED-screen spotters out there can also check out BBC News screen at Charing Cross, Liverpool Street and Victoria stations plus a Bloomberg screen opposite Old Street's roundabout! :smashin:
