Vice City badness

i don`t see their point:D

we're sad sad sad people who thrive on sick sadistic stuff like this.

mmm yep

NOT

Pretty funny. I get a kick out of people who would buy an 18 rated game for their kids, but would scoff at the thought of buying them an 18 rated movie. These people are the reason why the video game rating system doesn't work properly.

That is funny. How on earth did you come across that though.

When my nieces come around (13 and now 16), they ask to watch a movie and pick stuff like Aliens, or Pitch Black, or Halloween. With the lights on!

I say no, but thier parents would let them, even thoutgh I would call them responsible adults. Other movies that have ratings beyond thier years (but only just) I give the parents the option. Things like Full Monty (whcih is a 15) as i feel they are mature enough to understand the content, but the parents know better than me (and the BBFC) Horror/Sexual agression etc i disagree with showing to minors

GTA (VC and III) I'd let them see a demo of it but I wouldn't let them play it, and I'd make sure if I left them to play in my media room, that I went back in and checked they didn't load anything that wasn't appropriate.

Good point, if their parents allow them to watch play whatever, fine. My parents used to let me watch arnie stuff etc. when i was 12-13 (all those years ago). But like you say you dont and i wouldnt let children of that age watch things i deemed unsuitable. Think of the hassle you would get if they started having nightmares.

On a similar note my mother a school teacher. Recently went on a ski trip with kids from school aged between 9-12 and one of the male teachers showed them the matrix. That caused a huge amount of complaints. Not surprising really.

The only thing thats sick sick sick is the fact her nephew wanted the game, not the game itself or its much deserved 18 certificate.

Did anyone post a sick sick sick reply.:D

One person asked her if she was getting her nephew any hardcore porn... lol :D

If you read it, she has not actually played it!!!!

And what were you doing reading girly message boards??

HAHAHAHAHAHA Yeah I just read that!!

It is quite funny reading misinformed middle aged women complaining, they were all probably pot smoking swingers in teh 60s and 70s!!! But now they are members of church groups and are very moralistic!!!

Middle age conservatives are funny.

It is good to know they are taking an interest in gaming. I have given up computer games now on their advice as it is for kids and pretty sad.

Instead I find going out for long walks, decorating the front room, visiting garden centres and staring at similar green looking plant life for hours far more simulating...... why don't all you lot grow up!!!

sinzer i`ve now seen the light & i`m going sell all my games ect.the long walks sound too good.

The long walks are the best..... you can pick up interesting sticks to take home with you to paint. Also, if you take a little handbook of flora and fauna you can identify those green things you see everywhere and recite the latin name for squirrel when you see one.

My favourite is walking as slow as possible on the pavement then stopping at everyones front garden to look at their flowers.

YOU CANNOT HAVE MUCH MORE FUN!!!!!!!

I think I will organixe us a group picnic, I have Delias new book 'picnics for middleaged busy bodies, who are closet alcoholics'

So we should be OK!

I do think it is funny when people get on their moral high horse.

If games / films corrupted people society would be full of homicidal maniacs.

Games are games. Do you stop kids playing cowboys and Indians incase "they confuse fantasy with reality" and really want to scalp someone.

If the sound of music doesn't tramatise you then nothing will.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA not yet!!!!

They are a booming industry

I may start up www.devilfilms.com people can send me their tapes and I put in violent scenes!!

May work!!! Does anyone want to borrow my copy of edited Mary Poppins???
