VIA C3 CPU and DivX Performance?

Hi,

I have seen the new VIA C3 cpu's showing DVDs perfectlty well, however I was wondering if these chips are powerfull enough to properly decode DivX files? I got to see them yesterday at Comtek2002 in Moscow yesterday at the VIA stand. The CPUs were running with passive heatsinks, ie no fans, and thus would be great for a HCPC due to the reduced noise.

Anybody had experiance using them?

Further to the above I have worked out that on average a Via C3 866Mhz is about the same performance as a Celeron at 650Mhz. So if any users of Celerons at this speed can comment on their use as DivX players that might help too. I have never seen a DivX file running on anything slower than a PIII 700, and it was perfectly OK on that (was a 1100Kbs DivX with 384 DD5.1 sound). I know the higher the rate of DivX file the more power you need.
