    hi i need some help i cant get an RGB picture from the sony vhl-hs1 and a pioneer dv-717 i have tryed an RGB scart cable with phono into the IFU-HS1 interface unit then pj multi cable into the projector.can you get an RGB DVD picture or is it only on memory stick

    I know nothing about your dvd player but if it has Component outputs you will need to get the correct interface cable from Sony (sic-hs40) and plug that into the PJ multi on the projector and the red green blue cable into the correct R,G,B connection on the DVD player.

    One issue you will have tho is the IFU-HS1 does not take component just s-video and composite, so if you must use the Component R,G,B then you will not be able to have both these cables connected as the PJ only has 1 multi connector.
