VGA to RGB scart conversion

    I realise this will sound rather puny to most of you here lucky enough to have projectors, plasma etc - but here goes:

    I've got a Loewe Vitros and am thinking of connecting up a pc to the tv. My present graphics card does not have video out. It is a Geforce 2 MX. I could get the vga board fitted to my tv which would mean rgb picture as well, but am a bit weary of having it opened up by some local engineer rather than a Loewe one. I have asked about the expansion at the John Lewis I got the tv from. What I could do on the other hand is get a convertor box like what I have seen at the following site:

    I was looking at the CS-300. I don't know how good this is - recommendations, advise on all the above most welcome.
