Hey guys.

I have just purchased a Benq G2420HD (24" full HD monitor) - and would like to hook up my Mid-2009 Macbook Pro to it. The laptop has a mini display port connection.

My question - would I be better using a VGA or DVI adapter, as my monitor can take both connections. I am assuming DVI...but thought I would just check before pulling the trigger.

Also - is it best to purchase these types of things directly from Apple?

Many thanks for any help:smashin:

DVI all the way IMO and why doesn't a new monitor come with HDMI? Seems odd to me, but then again I haven't looked at monitors in years. Just thought it would be the standard connection now a days for full HD?

oops, forgot to mention that it does, but that is currently being used by my xbox 360:smashin:
