    Hello both

VanDamme Red Series or BetterCables Silver Serpent HD15 work well with the JS Tech converters - though both are a little outside your indicated price range.

JS Tech supply and recommend the VanDamme Blue Series VGA which are within your indicted budget.

    Best regards

    Joe

PS John Sim of JS Tech uses BetterCables :)

    Hi Joe,
I am after a VGA to VGA cable for running between a JS Tech box to a Panasonic PW6 screen. 1m-2m length would be sufficient. Can you please quote me for a Bettercables Silver Serpent and VanDamme Red/Blue. If you could also indicate what improvements I could expect between each of those, that would be really appreciated.

    Thanks

    Thanks all.
I was really tempted by the write-up's on the Bettercables Silver Serpent, but the Lindy looks pretty good, and for around £20 I will give it a go (... will keep 'er indoors from throwing a wobbly, as she thinks no cable should be more than a fiver!).

Can anyone give me some advice on connection option for a laptop with only VGA output. I would like to use the DVI PC input on my Hitachi 32LD7200 LCD TV but is there much point if connecting to a VGA port on the laptop? You can buy adaptors to convert VGA to DVI and then buy a dvi-i to dvi-i cable to connect but I am wondering if this is worhtwhile or I would be better off getting a cheaper VGA/D-sub cable. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    Hello cab0210

If your LCD TV has an HD15(VGA) Input then there is nothing to be gained by connecting the HD15(VGA) Output from your Laptop to the DVI-I Input on the LCD TV; both Inputs are working with the Analogue RGBHV signal from your source.

    Best regards

    Joe
