i have a hitatchi 7200 lcd. im looking to connect my pc to the tv the connections on the tv is vga- dvi can someone tell me which one i should use please tx

In theory, DVI will give you a better picture, as long as you've got DVI on the PC, and as long as the TV DVI is windows compatible (the TV manual should have this information).

In practice, VGA should give good results, as long as you use a decent quality cable. You might want to use the DVI input for something else, in the future.
