    Hi Chaps,
I'm having real grief finding a "decent" long VGA lead (about 9 metres).
i've looked at maplins they do a 2m vga to 5 bnc lead then you have to buy their 10m VGA extension cable :( what's the quality of these???
Been to better cables .com but works out with post import duty vat blah blah plus all the aggro etc too expensive.
Been toying with the idea of making my own but can't seem to find anyone on line that does the cable apart from maplins who do a cable but according to their sales staff would only sell the drum :( according to their catalogue they sell it by the metre?????
Can anyone help with an address?
Also wanted info on the pin config of the VGA connector hd15 i think
Oh,BTW would i suffer signal losses running such a long lead????
Any info as usual greatly app'd
    Cheers
    Tim :p :p :p

cheers for the stars ;) im running a 15metre with no loss in quality - i was a little concerned too. You would have a problem running 1600x1200 i would think, same problem at work with black box switches over long runs.

I managed to get to get ps2 and dc to vga boxes so im gonna use them videk for a vga switch

I've got a bettercable and I have to say I think it is worth the hassle, it worked out around £130 after import duty for a 8m cable.
