    Hi guys

Hook my plasma up to Sky via JS Tech RGB2VGA box, currently using a cheap Belkin PureAV VGA cable. Have seen the BetterCable silver serpent for £60 on Mark Grants site and the Van Damme Red Series for £32 on Av-Sales, would I see a mark improvement in PQ by switching to either of these? Is a VGA cable ultimately just a VGA cable (as some say about HDMI cables)?

    Thanks a lot:hiya:

A HDMI cable is a HDMI cable, VGA cable choice can make a difference.

Although the Belkin is nothing special, it is likely to be of a reasonable grade. Certainly nothing wrong with it.

Depending on the length of the cable you shouldn't really find a more expensive one any better.

Its up to you, a more expensive cable is not a bad thing. But 60 pounds is overkill.
