Anyone now the cheapest place to get a VGA to 5 phono cable, so I can hook up a laptop to my projector for occasional use.

    Cheers

What sort of cable length are you looking for - is it only 5RCA for RGBHV input on your projector; as pre made/moulded HD15 to HD15 are usually less expensive than those with 5RCA.

    Best regards

Need's to be about 3 meters to reach ceiling. And it needs to be 5 RCA since that's all th pj accepts, no HD15 input.

Drop me a note and I can give you a price for VanDamme, Supra and BetterCables.

See http://www.bettercables.com/silservga.html for more info on the Silver Serpent VGA breakout cables.

    Best regards

Thanks Joe, but they're looking like a bit more than I was hoping to pay $119 is a fair chunk, it really is only for very occasional use so I was hoping I'd be able to get an el cheapo cable.

I've got a load of phono's and we have straight VGA cables kicking around at work so maybe it's time I got the soldering iron our.

    Thanks for trying.
