VFM for £500 in Richers

I've got £500 in RS vouchers to be used, I'm looking at getting a new amp to decode the HD formats with this.

They've a couple around this price but Ive narrowed it down to either the onkyo806 or denon2309, reading reviews the denon appears to be on par with the onkyo706, so is the 806 a better buy for the money?

Both makes have a good reputation so probably not go far wrong with either. My brother has just bought a Onkyo 606 and is very happy with it so I would expect the 806 to be a little better. Since they are both available at Richer Sounds I would recommend going and having a demo of both. That way you can pick the one that sounds best to you (which is the most important thing).
