Question Vesa mount for Optoma EH501 (attach to horizontal pole)

Hello,

I've got an Optoma EH501 which I need to attach (hang) from a horizontal pole, its a generic scaffolding pole (UK), cannot confirm diameter.

A few years ago I got a generic projector mount which I remember didn't fit to this projector (only two of the holes aligned) and I don't want to make the same mistake again.

Here is an image of the underside of the projector:

( Dropbox - non standard mount.png )
As you can see it has 3 holes for screws rather than 4, does anyone know if this is a standard VESA compatible mount type, or some other type? is there a name for it or is it unique to this projector?

Could there be an adapter which goes from this config to a standard vesa type? this would be ideal for me since I have a very nice VESA pole mount ( Tilt and Swivel TV Pole Mount - Grey | CPC UK ).

My terminology is poor, perhaps why I've had little success finding anything useful on google. So any advice on what to search for, or any other advice really, is welcome. I'm not sure if this is even the best place to ask, if not, please show me the way.
