Very strange problem

Fixed YLOD this afternoon... but now when I send A/C power to the unit it turns on automatically, beeps once, beeps again, and then goes into standby. The power button then does not work.

It definately does not show YLOD.

What could this be?

sounds like you have killed it, and damaged either the internals or a ribbon connector at least, if its powering on automatically when switched on at the rear.

Swapped the ribbon cable from the I/O board, all working..!
