Very small jumping Spider

    Found this on my window sill and managed to get hime inside for a few photos. He was approx 2mm in length.

    MPe-65, 430EX, 30D at 4x life size.

    looks kinda scary that size :eek: - don't like spiders!

    Nice capture Allie.

    I find jumpers the most characterful of spiders (if that can be said about a spider) because they are always active. They also have good eyesight and when you use flash to shoot them they look at where the flash is coming from, unlike most other bugs that seem to be oblivious to flash.

    Check those eyes out. Talk about all-round vision - that's quite amazing.

    Well captured, especially with the blighter being so small.

    now that is bleedin awful the spider that is not the capture...waaaaay to many eyes for my liking :eek:

    I don't mind spiders - Happy to hold them etc.

    However, thats the nastiest looking thing I've seen in a while - much worse than the Trantula I held over easter. eeeeeeeewwwww.

    That's some serious magnification. :smashin:
