does anyone know where i can buy the parts
to make a long s-video cable and phone leads.

i want to have run from my sky digi box in the living room
    to my bedroom.

As im buying a plasma tv for the bedroom.
these it seems do not take RF i/ps.

so i want to feed the svideo out to a AV amp.
along with the phono LR leads.

    and then to the plasma.

the run will be quite long as i live in a bungalow.

is there anyone that sells ready made long leads.

i take it the spec of s-video allows for a long run.

    thanks brian

Would a Video sender not be a better investment?
I believe maplin have a pair for £40 at the moment.

Maplin will probably also stock whatever it is you need for cables. (I think I saw a 15m S-vid cable on there, but i don't suppose thats long enough)

Another suggestion I've seen mentioned before is Cat 5, there is a site you can visit to get all the details but I can't recall the address off hand.

Lektropacks will make one as long as you like but check with them first as over a very long distance signal may be very attenuated and noisy why a plasma in the bedroom? what do you have in the lounge? or a second box for the bedroom? or have the existing one moved and an RF lead to the TV

i did a similar thing in our old place, i used a 9 core cable from maplin.used 4 cores for the s-video and 4 more for the left/right phonos, it ended up at just over 12 metres and was absolutley fine.
and it was all in one neat cable :)
