Why do i feel the need to drink too much and too quickly.Went on a leaving bash last night and went silly.Upset the wife when i got back[much tongue pie to come] woke the nipper up.When i drink at a nice steady pace and stick to one sort of ale i get no problems but no thats far too easy. The way i feel is a reminder of how not to have a good time. The flowers and chocs i have just bought is a feeble sorry to the wife.

We've all done it mate. I remember going on a stag do to Worcester races, coming back home late, very drunk and singing 'I'd rather be a sausage than an egg' whilst trying to climb the stairs quietly

Honestly never done it! Booze does not agree with me, tried it as a lad and had enough throwing up sessions and hangovers to teach me a lesson. Might have a small bottle of beer or glass of wine in a month!

    LMFAO :rotfl:

A mate of mine a number of years ago had gone round town after work on the Friday as you do!
He'd gotten that steaming he decided it was a great idea to come visiting me (he should have really known better even ****** out of his brains anyhow) he must have forgotten where I lived as a neighbor 3 or 4 doors down came knocking on my door to let me know he'd walked into their house, demanded a fry up, threw up on their carpet and passed out on the floor :rotfl:

i've only been REALLY drunk on about 10 occasions - on 8 of them i've streaked!! once through Birmingham City Centre in a shopping trolly :D me and a mate thought it would be a good idea -so i stripped off and jumped in - he then pushed me down New Street i was passing buses had to tip it over at the junction with Corparation St - very funny night :smashin:

I dont know why i do it i just do. i even tried to chat up my second cousin at a family wedding in front of Mrs D - i near cop't off as well until Mrs D called me darling - christ i was hammered that night. as such i dont drink anymore. although i do seem to get invited to every party in birmingham - i think they want me to make a come back :smashin:

I got hammered last night as well. ( beery lunch , friday night works drinks , cocktail bar , nightclub and champagne: my wallet hurts this morning)
I don't mind the hangovers so much but I find as I'm getting older the following morning I remember what I got up to and generally regard myself as a bit of a pratt.

Normally I phone my mates up to make sure we all made it home alright and usually find out the only person who thinks I'm a pratt is me. Everyone else thought I was fine and or fun.

Guess the come down off the booze the next day makes you a bit vulnerable and self obsessed.
