This very faint line keeps catching my eye, it’s all the way around the border of the tv, i’m pretty sure my older tv has it and the samsung upstairs appears to have it as well.

It isn’t backlight bleed or glow ect its very hard to explain it almost looks like a near invisible line.

I think the last time I noticed this was when I was watching a movie and you could see maybe half an inch clear line down the sides of the tv pretty sure it was planet of the apes blu ray, im guessing this is just normal?

It's perfectly normal, mine has exact the same thing,it's to do with the TV being edge lit, believe me if you look for issues on any TV you WILL find them. Its a fantastic TV for the price.Just enjoy it.

yeah I thought it was normal since the other tvs seemed to have it but was just making sure.

Another quick thing, one side of the back panel is clear while on the other side you can see some light coming through the back of the border, do you have this? attatched pictures below.
