after shelling out on a projector, id like to just have a very cheapo home screen to use and replace in the future. Im looking at about 90-100inches and ideally for under £75 roughly.... any ideas anybody? Thanks, Chris

Probably not as cheap as the MDF, but you could build a wooden frame and stretch/staple white blackout cloth over over it. BO cloth is used as a liner for curtains to prevent light ingress, but a lot of people use it as a cheap screen material. It's about £5 per linear meter. My screen cost me less than £30. Pics on my website if you're interested.

If you want a cheap pull down screen, a roller blind may do the job. Try the forum search for some ideas from people who've found ones that work well.

    Gary.
