I'm writing this thread on behalf of my friend.
He has got a new set up in his bedroom with a HD telly and an XBox 360 and he wants to get it surround sound.
He has got a cheap Mikomi 5.1 sub and speaker system. This only has a 6 channel input from a dvd player on the back of it so it can't be used with his TV or Xbox.
He's got a budget of around £50 to get a working 5.1 system in his bedroom. It doesn't have to use the Mikomi speakers if it's easier to get a whole new system but low price is the main requirement. It doesn't have to be the greatest sounding.
It would also be nice if there was the option to put his freeview box through it as well, if that's possible.
