Vertical Pioneer Freeview box?

    ALthough the Pioneer freeview box isn't designed to be stood vertically like the Sony model, do you think it would be safe to do so?

    It doesn't appear to get particularly hot, so I think it might be ok. Any opinions?

    ....can't see any reason why not. The PCB inside would still have to be mounted in the same orientation relative to the box if they were to design it as an upright (vertical) product aka the Sony. They probably wouldn't do much different and there's no moving parts.

    ...it might fall over, then off the table and impale itself on a screwdriver you left on the floor.... but yeah why not.
