Since my Tosh 36zp48 came last week I've been mre than a little impressed with the PQ from progressive scan component inputs on the DVD. However, when watching broadcasts through Sky (on any channel) I notice slight vertical banding across the whole screen which is almost imperceptible, but becomes worse on dark backgrounds combined with fast movement.

I'm wondering if it's likely to be the STB or possibly my scart (Nikkai pure connectivity from Maplin - About £16 i think).

Any ideas appreciated, as although it's bearable it would be nice to get it sorted out.

Yes, it's a flippin' amstrad box (which also makes a right old racket from the HD and which Sky say is "normal", even though my old PACE box was silent) I can feel another call to Glasgow coming on!
