    Hi,

Just got around to watching Versus (jap i think), its a great popcorn movie, loads of sword play, guns, and gore. Loads of zombies - Martial arts vs evil dead.

Great camera work, shame about the 2ch sound. Rented it from Blockies, worth watching!!.

I thought it was a good laugh as well, though I found it hard to piece together the story at times.

The mini movie is great, but the feature is only 2.0 IIRC

I've got the R1 sat on my shelf, but I haven't watched it yet. To be honest, I'd forgotten about it until I read this thread, now I'll have to watch it this week.

I know I originally recommended this film after seeing it at the cinema but I bought the DVD and found it very hard to get to the end without falling asleep, it's all style (not very stylish either) no substance, and at 2hrs that's about an hour and a half too long. I think I must have been subconciously swayed by the enthusiastic audience reaction! Sorry.

But I'm giving Kitamura-san another chance and going to see his latest, Aragami, on Sunday.
