ventura SHD7001E multi region code wanted

hi there everyone,
my parents have just puchased this model because of the special offer on qvc but are disappointed that they cannot play their region 1 or region 4 discs.
can anybody help?

try posting in the HD dvd section as well........ive seen a few threads in there about this.
Apparently its basically a rebadged Toshiba, so if a hack comes out it will be worth checking for that machine as well.
