Velodyne Sub discounted worth buying

i have been offered a velodyne Microvee for £500 or a spl1200 for £900

does anyone feel there worth considering over a Bk 200 or 400

i have qaccoustics 1010 5.1 package at present in room 4.5 m x 4,5 m x 2.6 m h

bare brick walls and large fireplace due to propert being 16 th century

any thoughts

No way would I take a Microvee over an xxls 400.
The spl1200 is a different prospect, but would it be worth twice the price?

It's just thoughts though and I haven't heard either of the Velos.
It might help others if you say what your priorities are, music or films

Films only i have a different system for 2 channell

also there is a velodyne cht 10q for £360.00 would this compare to a bk 400
as it has a eq system

That's an interesting one.
Very similar size, but although the 400 has the larger driver, it's sealed.
As you say, with Eq, it could be a good bet.

I'd like to do that comparison myself
