I'm pre-empting my sub build goes as plannes, so have my Velo SPL 1200 up for sale also. I purchased this here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/arch...velodyne-monitor-audio-subs-sale-glasgow.html This is a fantastic sounding sub, especially when you consider it's size!

I'm looking for £400 delivered, or £370 collected from London SW16....but am open to sensible offers!

(M&K's have been removed for now.)

    Location: London
I have read the trading rules and agree to abide by them at all times until the transaction is concluded to the satisfaction of all parties involved : Yes.

Hi with the damaged speaker is it just the one edge or the entire front of the speaker ? so if it was used as a centre would the damage be visible if it was wall mounted cheers Garry

It is mostly up the left hand side, with a little bit on top. I use them upright and from a distance of around 3.4m it is just about visible. If you plan to have them on their side then I think it may still be visible.

Hi would it be possible to post some pics of the damaged speaker with the grill off from a few different angles ? is it just the paint finish that is damaged and not the cabinet itself ? finally do you ever travel along the M4 at all ? cheers Garry

I'll try and take some pics later on this evening - I've never taken the grills off, but from I can tell the damage has not compromised the cabinet. And finally - I don't go anywhere near the M4 as I don't drive :(

I've attached some pics as close up as I could - so it may look worse than it is. I tried pulling on the grill to see if it comes off and it all seems pretty solid. Not sure if you can on the Xenons? Maybe someone can chime in on this.

I'm sure the missus will love them - they are discreet, glossy black and pack a punch for their size. The damage is barely noticeable when at normal viewing position and more importantly, to my ears, hasn't impacted on the sound.

I'll pass for now - but thanks for the free bump :)

I'm not in the greatest rush to sell as I'm working on a subwoofer project and also have a new job to prepare for.

    Evening bump.

I've taken the M&K's off the market for now, but have added the Velo SPL1200.

    Some questions on the sub:
    - Do you have original box? (or a proper box for posting)
    - Any damages or marks on the sub?
    - How old is it?
    - Can I arrange my own courier for delivery? (I will insure the package and assume all responsabilty) (I live in Portugal). I assume the box is around 30kg, right?

    Cheers

That is a little too low...unless you meant 385?

I don't have the original box, but it will be well packaged. The sub is in excellent condition and looks lovely - there are some pictures in the link in the first post.

I'm not sure on the age, I've had it for just under two years.

It will be under 30KG - but shipping to Portugal will be expensive for you! To be honest, without using professional packaging I would be a little uncomfortable posting it overseas. If you are happy with the risks of damage in overseas transit then let me know your offer.

I can push my offer up to 300GBP + postage at my cost. I can't go any further because the shipping is expensive...
If you can find a proper box, with lots of bubble wrap, some Polyurethane on the corners, and protect the driver with a strong sheet of carton (for example), I think it would be possible to receive the sub without damage. I've already bought here an Onkyo 876 (a beast with 28kg) and it arrived perfectly after 4 days.
    Please let me know...
