    I have just sold my B&W ASW750 and am looking to upgrade to a model with a 15" driver.
    I have narrowed it down to a choice of the above. Has anyone got any experience comparing either of these subs ?

    :thumbsup:

    I may be wrong but I think that rags has had both. I'm sure that a search will provide the answer but he isn't as regular as he used to be so he may need a prod by PM to respond

    Edgeboy, I have had the DD15 for appx 5 months now and it still gives me a huge grin when it rumbles and explodes during movies. It is also very subtle with using with music. The great thing with the DD15 is that you can adjust the volume at a touch of a button and carryout all the tuning through the software that is displayed on the TV.

    I can't comment on the B&W but I would certainly buy the DD15 again.

    No need to prod him on this one :) Rags did indeed have both, and he definately preferred the B&W. He felt it had more "slam", and even though I was skeptical (he has a big peak at around 30-40hz in his room), he felt the same even when it was equalised.

    I've owned both too (well the ASW850, and I loved both - although the DD-15 does go lower and has room EQ built in).

    Not really helping am I:suicide::D

    Please report back on your findings because I am interested in both of these subs too.

    Sadly I'm now considering selling my DD-15 :( If I do and when I get round to buying another decent sub, I can't think of anything else other than the DD (unless the space I have to play with dramatically increases in the new house).

    Honestly dont waste your time with getting the DD15. The new wave of processors do a decent job of eqing the low frequencies. the ASW855 rocks - I have two of them :D

    Just my preference - obviously plenty of happy DD15 owners out there as well.

    I find I use Audessy AND the Velodyne software ...but thats just me I guess as always, whatever someone owns is the best - so Velodyne are much better than that poor substitute called "B&W" ...they are not known for doing subs are they ?:rotfl:
