    Hi,
Which would be a better sub to get the Velodyne CHT10 or the Paradigm PS-1000 ? I know the Velodyne must be pretty good because it seems to pop up in this group quite a bit. I would like it to be good for both movies and music. I know the Paradigms get a bad rap as boomy sounding. Is the Velodyne loud and clear ( low distortion ) ?

    Thanks

My heart would say PS1000 but my head says CHT-10.
The CHT-10 is by far the easier of the two to set up, and even though it's quite a bit more money (in percentage terms) you'll probably get on with it better than a PS1000.
Or you could wait and see what the VX-100 is like if you want something for roughly the same money as the PS1000.
