Hi I'm using my panny vcr's analogue tuner into my pw6 as a second TV source when recording on my Humax pvr, the vcr is connected through a scart board, I find the screen has a narrow black band top and bottom, is there anyway of overcoming this other than setting the plasma to zoom mode.

Hi On tape I just get a slight band at the bottom with aspect set to Panasonic auto. Also tried the analogue tuner on my dvd recorder, Panasonic DMRE60 model and exactly the same effect this is fed through JS RGB to VGA box so it looks like it must be peculiar to analogue tv transmission ??

i think it is to do with PAL video being 576 line and panny having 480 lines of pixels and having to fit 576 into 480 nothing much to worry about
