    I've been offered a Phillips DVDR80 for £175. (I know, Phillips  )

As I have a lot of old music tuition videos, I thought it might be good for transferring them to disk

AFAIK there is no macrovision on the videos. D'you think it would be worth while ?

If Macro crops up buy a £20 lead from www.sonel.com and record way.Personally,I would avoid Philips recorders like the plague. But if its brand new and you can get an extended warranty with it,why not?
