    Hi,

I'm moving house and taking the opportunity to upgrade my home cinema to a plasma screen. I'm kind of wanting to go the HD route but to be honest since the majority of my viewing is TV rather than DVD (about 80:20) there is precious little reason for taking the plunge and getting one of the new gen HD sets since in two years time when there's sufficent affordable content no doubt I'll be able to buy better for less.... anyway my plan is to buy a good quality older panel to tide me over and I think a Panasonic PW6 42 inch screen fits the bill nicely but what would be the used value of one of these? With 42 in PW7 panels commonly available new for £1250-1300 I'm wondering how much less a used PW6 will be (given the fact that it would likely be at least 12 months and is now 2 generations old) ?

    Any opinions?

    Cheers,

    Andy
