    Hi all

A friend of mine has a couple of old Canon lenses and has been wondering what they're worth.

Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-210mm 1:4 (code UB1101)
Canon Fisheye Lens EF 15mm 1:2.8 (code UB0400)

I've had a look at the lenses and they're in excellent condition (no scratches, water damage, fungus etc).

Any help would be appreciated. :)

    Cheers

70-210 goes for around £80 on Ebay, the 15mm is tough but much newer ones go for 300-400 the UB date code means its really old though so it probably wont fetch that much. UB is 1987.

I'll be interested in the 15mm if they want to sell.

I have a copy of the 70-210 f4, it's a beautiful lens, gets great results with a steady hand and high shutter. Tell them to keep hold of it!

I'm in the US atm and my friend will be going to a camera shop to get a valuation. She just wanted to see what a ball park figure would be so she wouldn't get ripped off.

If she does want to sell here, then I'll offer it up through the classifieds and see where we go from there. :smashin:

Wasting your time with most camera shops, they pay WELL below what you could get privately.
