    Complete Newbie -sorry
    Back in the 80s I had a V2000 VCR
I still have some old tapes of the Tube!!
Does anyone know of anybody who has a working V2000 machine who can help with transferring stuff to a different medium?

    You'll be lucky.
I had about a dozen V2000's back in about 1981 and none of them lasted more than about a month before they broke down. Fortunately I was renting and I was out of there like a shot when the years contract was up. I'm not suprised that there's been no answers to your post, I'd be amazed if there were many (any?) out there still working. In fact I'm suprised to hear of someone else who even had one back then. I thought I was the only one!
Good luck keep us posted if you succed.
