V+ stuttering issue

I noticed a problem just now. When watching the program I was recording the program (picture and sound) would stutter very slightly every now and then. Like a skipped frame. Tiny but annoying issue. Any ideas?

I have it mostly on channels like Sci Fi and the Living channel recordings.

Noticed this last night on Hotel Babylon HD and American Chopper on Discovery. Nothing major just annoying.
