Hi guys,

I have got my V+ hooked up via Optical to my Sony HTFS1000 Amp. For some reason I can only get stereo output. Does the V+ output 5.1 channel sound? Surely I can't be stuck with stereo audio from my two front speakers?

Everything works pucka when connected via the PS3 :)

Any ideas?

Thanks.

It only outputs stereo 99% of the time.
BBC HD preview is in DD.
The standard setting should be DPL11 or Neo 6, with the amp auto switching when it detects DD.

Use BBC HD to check it's working ok.

Yup. Its auto-switching to DD on BBC HD :) It says in the display DD 3/2.1, Is this correct?

Also what is DPL11 and Neo 6? Sorry you have lost be there.

3/2.1 sounds right.

DPL = Dolby pro logic, a pseudo surround, which will give a surround effect, but is not true surround.
Pretty sure your amp will have it :smashin:
