V+ locking up Denon AVR-2809

Hi all

I'm not sure if this question should be posted here or the Amp section, but here's what the problem is anyway.

I had a new Samsung V+ installed last week and it seems to be having a bizarre effect on my Denon AVR-2809. After a certain amount of time, which seems to vary, it causes the amp to stop producing any audio output, just as though it's went on to mute.....but hasn't. It doesn't matter which input I select , DVD, CD, there just isn't any audio, not even headphones.

The only way I can get things back to normal is to turn the amp off, unplug the HDMI from the V+ and power up the amp again.

Anybody having something similar?

I assume that your amp will play other sources for ever?

If so then look at getting your V+ swapped

Yip....Plug in anything else and it works just fine.

I had the V+ box swapped a couple of weeks ago for one of the SA boxes and it does exactly the same..:(

I think you have to have your box connected to the amp via component cables for this to work,I don't know if you have done this or not ?
