It struggled in the dim lighting in many areas of the V&A but in general manfully coped quite well. In good light its aa little gem...but like all small sensor compacts it struggles in low light. Need RAW though for sure for varied light day outs like this.

Just a couple more...I do have 100.....but I think you get the idea. the V&A is a fantastic place and we walked around for nearly 4 hours..and still didn't see it all. Nice restaurant as well and not overpriced

    Thanks chaps....

Its a truly great place for photography being full of design and incredible shapes but you definitely need a larger sensor camera because of the lighting in a lot of it. Having said that with a bit of playing with exp comp and white balance gets round a lot of issues. Flash is not often an option because of glass cabinets and lack of flash control in the TZ10. Can't fault the TZ10 as I knew its limitations...and I certainly won't be getting rid of mine. Colours and sharpness are outstanding for a little camera. Jim's decision making has always been suspect since that thong bulk buying escapade....

But I definitely need that X10/RZ100/G12 type camera for future visits. I could take the A580 mind you.....

    Cheers Jim.

You know when they say its the photographer and not the camera that makes the picture. The V&A is the exception.... the location makes the pictures. Amazing place...... just made it so much fun to take pictures. After a while my head hurt with all the opportunities. And the little ol' TZ10 coped surprisingly well as my mood dropped when I first got inside and saw the lighting. Although to be fair it was OK in a lot of areas but it is a very well designed mood lighting place. Great presentations of the exhibits. Mind blowing.....
