I use a Dimage 7i and I've never been very happy with the AF - MF is just about impossible - and I took the UV filter off as an experiment. There seems to be some improvement. Still not great, but a bit better. The filter is a Kenko (kept clean), which isn't the best brand around, but there isn't a lot of choice here, and I've used them before on SLR lenses without any problems. Could a UV filter interfere with AF? Anyone have a similar experience? Thanks, guys.
