    Hello...

Does anyone here run there own server ?.. I have a one meg broadband link and a pc I am using for a music server which I wondered if I could use for my own dedicated UT server ?

Its a One gig P3 celeron (i think) which can have upto 512MB Ram (currently got 256). I presume graphics cards etc are not a issue as it would just be churning data..

So could this be used ?. otherwise is it feasible to use my gaming pc as the server as well ? (P4 2.8, 1gig Ram etc etc )

    Cheers

    Matt

you wouldnt really be able to host more than 5 or 6 people with that connection
for a server you need at the very least 10mb
