hi there- hoping to get sky hd installed throught the new offer on website.

i already have sky dish and a sky box- when the engineer fits my new sky hd box will i be able to ask hime to leave the old sky cabling connected so i can have a free-channels-to view box iin my bedroom- or will he use the current cable and just add another cable-instead of adding 2 new cables?

will i have to get a quad LNB to run the sky hd and the free to view sky box?:confused:

Yes. But you'll be getting a quad anyway, as Sky+ HD uses two cables and Sky don't install twins.

Offer the installer a fiver (cash in hand) - maybe a tenner - to run a third cable from the LNB to where you want to put the standard Sky box. He should do it for you as long as he's not too rushed - shouldn't add more than fifteen minutes to his workload.
