Hi,
Has anyone any experience of getting Powerstrip to work with an Intel onboard
graphic chip. Trying to get my HTPC to display a widescreen 1280 * 720 or native 1366 * 768 but despite setting it in powerstrip it doesn't seem to take it. I'm don't think it's the LCD . Its a JVC32DS6 which from the box only supports 1024 * 768 but several have it running via VGA at widescreen resolutions but on cards like NVIDIA/ATI(using advanced timing). At the moment can't afford to upgrade to a off-board card so trying to get the Intel 82945G to go widescreen.

Any help is appreciated

thanks
Ronan

This cropped up before . Intels don't do very well with forcing custom resolutions.
You don't need anything fancy a 10quid Radeon VE can handle this resolution just fine.
On ebay you might even get it cheaper.

Thanks for that. Got the card and all runiing ok. Was expecting a big difference but its not so different

Im having problems with my laptop and an Intel chip, any idea on whether its possible to upgrade my laptop or something along those lines?

Ive got a Toshiba Tecra A2 laptop.

Please help, its driving me nuts!
