Apologies if this is either the wrong section to post, or if this has been covered before (couldn't find anything in a search).

I've got a good quality 19inch LCD PC monitor sitting unused at home. I've also been looking at getting a new LCD TV for occasional use at home.

It would make sense if I could use the PC monitor for watching TV on, and have found this on ebay.

Just wondered if there's anything like this that anyone can recommend that's a quality (ie. branded) product and gives both good visual and audio?

It is possible to use this monitor to watch TV, but.... you may find the getting a box to do this is either expensive or too much hassle, due to cheap design of the convertor, and design restrictions of the monitor...

In the end it may well be better to sell the monitor, and use the money to help buy a good LCD TV, that usually have a PC input... (make sure you check resolution and capability!!)

The extra plus is the widescreen and DVB tuner...
