(hope this is the most suitable forum for this question)

I have tried encoding some U.S tv sourced material, to dvd, using Nero Vision Express 3, and even with its default options. it actually does a bang on job, except for the video movement. If encoded in PAL, the movement pauses slightly at a regular interval of about every 2 to 3 seconds. And if encoding again in NTSC, it seems to smooth these pauses out, but introduces a general jerkyness instead. I also triied setting the domestic dvd player (pana s75) to handle NTSC as NTSC and not PAL60, but it doesent make any difference either. The tv is NTSC capable, and i dont have any problem with R1 dvd playback - but i guess this is something different anyway.

    any ideas?
