    Hi everyone

I have VMware Fusion running windows XP, which I use to run Rosetta stone. One of the exercises it uses is to record your voice so you can compare the speech pattern.

I don't know how to get the mic working inside VMware fusion so that I can do this stuff, as it just says sound will not be available (for the mic).

Sound output is fine, its only getting it in that I have a problem with.

Anyone have any ideas? (Its one of the new macbooks, bought just before Xmas)

    thanks

You should be able to get the BootCamp drivers for the various Mac devices.. and you can use them to install the devices you need - I got the iSight drivers off of the 'net and installed that no problem! Wasn't sure if I was able to use the drivers directly off of the BootCamp CD that OS X lets you create though..

    Hope this helps :)

And I thought that the Rosetta stone discs came with both PC and MAC versions. They've definitely got a Mac version so I would contact them if you have not got it on your disc.....Easier than using emulation....
